Solitaire ring with filled out claw setting

  during this project i manufactured 2 strips of metal 22mm long and 3,8mm width to make tubes using the cone punching blog. I marked out my claws taking note the solder seam and positioning one of the hexagon punches into my solder seam. marked my lines and saw then used a straight Frazer to open up my lines, used my Berret file to create a nice v shape and making my lines straight. i marked my bottom claws in between the spaces and scrabbed 1.5mm from the bottom and used my triangular files to open the bottom part and create a MC Donald's logo ,I sawed the lines in-between the M shapes to give an antique look, I created an Oring using 1.2mm square wire in relation to the measured bottom of my setting then added a bar using the same wire across the bottom ,i drilled 0.9mm hole in the middle point of the bar ,I soldered my thin wire from the bottom avoiding excess wire.  I melted my remaining metal used a rolling machine to roll my metal up to 2mm ,used my 925 stamp to stamp...
